About Hydrex Honda

The 2008 season was a solid one for the Shaun Muir lead racing team with consistent races by James Ellison who now joins up with another former Bike Animal rider Leon Camier on a Yamaha to give Shaun Muir’s riders a run for their money in 2009. Whilst Guy had a mixed season he did achieve a third place in the Superstock class at the 2008 TT, also breaking the record from Geoff Duke of six consecutive wins in six years around Scarborough’s Oliver’s mount, and holding the lap record around the North West 200 circuit.

Karl is making his way back to Hydrex Honda with one thought in mind, to win the championship, and determined rider Karl is more focused than ever. Before heading away for start of season testing Karl is on a strict training program getting him-self fit for the championship ahead. After an up-down season in 2008, he is fired up and ready to make an impression on the short circuits in 2009.

Stuart Easton earned himself a Superbike ride with Hydrex Honda after clinching the spectacular win at Macau Grand Prix by over 3 seconds after not competing there in 2 years. Stuart should surprise many people this year, after showing he is comfortable and competitive with his Honda machine and his mechanics, Stuart will certainly be one to look out for as a regular podium finisher in 2009.

This time around the Hydrex Honda team faces a new season with a solid set of experienced and skilled riders and mechanics, with Karl Harris and Stuart Easton concentrating on the 12 rounds of British Superbikes, 2009 will see Guy Martin attacking the roads. The goals are quite simple this year, podiums for all 3 riders in all events. No less will be expected as the SMR challenge intends to hit the road running at round one in April at Brands Hatch.
