Nail-Biting MotoGP Finalé in
Store for Visitors to the NEC Bike Show 2006
17th October 2006
The atmosphere at the International Motorcycle and
Scooter Show on Sunday 29th October at the Birmingham NEC which runs
from 27th October to 5th November, will be electric as hundreds of
fans settle down in front of the big screens to witness the last
moments of the 2006 MotoGP season, one of the most gripping in years.
Following Sunday’s nail-biting race at Estoril, in which Nicky Hayden
crashed out and Valentino Rossi finished in 2nd, the Championship
could well be decided in the final laps as rival riders Nicky Hayden
and Valentino Rossi go head to head.
Bike Show visitors will have the best seat in the country on Sunday
29th October when they will get to watch the deciding race of the
season on the Blackhorse Stage giant screen, live from Valencia .
Viewers will watch events unfold on the giant screen situated in the
Arai Race Paddock, surrounded by the hottest race bikes around and
right next to the Guinness Bar.
Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions (MCIE) commented:
‘It has now become an International Motorcycle and Scooter Show
tradition to have the final round of the MotoGP season shown on the
big screen. There’s always a great atmosphere with the crowds showing
their support for different teams, but this one is going to be
particularly tense.’
